Trainer Contract/Service Level Agreement which summarises the relationship between the Trainer and the South West Peninsula Postgraduate Medical Education. This is the Service Level Agreement (or Contract) between trainers and the Dean of Postgraduate GP Education in the South West. It is a description of what the Dean agrees to do and what trainers agree to do in terms of overall provision of services and although it included things like delivery of education, for example, it leaves the details of that to individual trainers.
It is in addition to other local and national regulations, such as trainer approval criteria and GMC regulations, and is signed once only, when a trainer is first approved.
Termination is when a trainer resigns.
